SJS celebrates All Saints’ Day with Living Wax Museum

SJS Living Wax Museum 2020 In celebration of All Saints’ Day, Saint James Catholic School (SJS) presented a Living Wax Museum at the school on Monday, Nov. 2. More than 30 saints were represented, including Saints Anthony, Lucy, Rose of Lima and more. Seventh graders dressed the part and prepared presentations about the saints’ lives to share with other students.

“Saints are important to the Catholic Church tradition. We teach our students the history of the Church through their stories,” said Sister Marie Hannah, SJS principal. “Our seventh graders had the honor of sharing these wonderful stories and helping other students see that holiness is possible for everyone.”

The annual Solemnity of All Saints feast, set on November 1 by Pope Gregory III, celebrates all saints recognized by the Catholic Church.
