SJS Announces first Scholarship fund
Saint James Catholic School is grateful to the Alicna family for creating the first scholarship fund which will be available for the first time during the 2020-2021 school year. The scholarship was established to honor the memory of former Saint James Catholic School 6th grader Amy Alicna.
The funds will support a Saint James student who is also a registered parishioner at Saint James Catholic Church and will be awarded based solely upon financial need. The scholarship may provide up to the full tuition amount each year.
All those interested in applying for the scholarship must complete the annual financial assistance application through the Catholic Education Foundation. All financial requests will be considered for this scholarship and awarded annually.
The Catholic Education Foundation tuition assistance application opens on December 15 and may be found at ceflou.org. The deadline to apply is February 28.
