From the Desk of Sister Marie Hannah
Hello parents, faculty and friends!
Several exciting things are happening soon! We celebrate Catholic Schools Week Jan. 27-Feb. 2 with fun activities and events planned for every day.
Monday’s theme is “Celebrating Our Community” so for the first time we are hosting a Community Breakfast where we will welcome community leaders to our school. We look forward to shining a spotlight on the school and the amazing students we have the privilege of educating.
See the rest of the events and activities in the calendar at the bottom of the newsletter or click here to download a copy.
Make sure students wear their uniform to Mass at any regional parish on Jan. 27 to receive a “no-code” pass for Jan. 29.
Registration Deadline Approaching.
Just a reminder, registration for our current families is open until Feb. 28, so if you haven’t already, please register with FACTS Tuition Management System to start the process. More information can be found here.
We are here and available to help with any questions or concerns you may have as we move to tuition-based funding. Sarah Bowman, SJS FACTS administrator, can help walk you through the process of registering with FACTS. If you need assistance, you may contact her at 270-765-7011 ext. 242 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) financial assistance application is available so be sure to fill that out and make the most of available tuition assistance and scholarships.
Growing our School Family.
SJS First Look is Feb. 4-15. We are inviting anyone interested to see firsthand the value of a Catholic education and to tour our school. Make sure to tell friends, family and anyone else considering sending their children to SJS.
Enjoy a Cup of Joe with Me.
Don’t forget about our Coffee with the Principal, 8 a.m. Jan. 24. Stop by for coffee and conversation and to discuss important matters related to the school. I look forward to seeing you there!
Revelation 21:5 - Behold, I make all things new
Our scripture theme for the year continues to ring true. I am excited to welcome everyone back to a New semester, and I can’t wait to see what this New year brings.
