Beginning in August 2019, Kindergarten through 8th grade students have been assessed using NWEA MAP testing. Testing specific to grade level is included below:
- Kindergarten - 1st grades: MAP Fluency and Math Growth
- 2nd grade: MAP Reading and Math Growth
- 3rd - 8th grades: MAP Reading, Math and Language Usage Growth
Currently, 72% of our students are performing at or above grade level in Math and 83% of our students are performing at or above grade level in reading based on the MAP testing from the 2019-2020 school year.
prior to the 2019-2020 school year, our students were assessed using Terra Nova testing.
Until 2019, Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville administered the TerraNova, 3rd edition, a norm-referenced achievement test, to students in grades 3, 5, and 7 TerraNova assesses the subject areas of reading, language, mathematics, science, and social studies. Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville consistently perform above the national average on the TerraNova.
